WashTec fulfils its responsibility in its own operational activities to maintain and continuously develop economic, ecological and social values. Responsibility for the implementation of these topics lies with the Management Board, which has appointed a sustainability officer to support it.
Together with the “sustainability team”, which is made up of those responsible for the environmental, social and legal (governance) areas, they develop the sustainability strategy and monitor its effectiveness.
The sustainability team derives targets from the strategy and implements projects and measures in all WashTec areas. Appropriate policies, such as the Code of Conduct or the environmental guidelines, provide the framework for this. Ideas and input from the departments are in turn taken on board and incorporated into the strategy or projects.
Thanks to this continuous dialogue process and the involvement of all employees and departments, we believe we are ideally positioned to achieve our goals.
