Our clear objective is to continuously increase energy efficiency along the entire value creation process. This means minimising energy consumption and thereby reducing the environmental impact. In doing so, we rely on various strategies and technologies that improve both efficiency in the provision of the required form of energy and consumption in the production processes themselves. The most important approaches are​

Energy-Efficient Machines and Systems​
The use of modern machines and systems can significantly reduce energy requirements. In addition, when purchasing a new machine (e.g., compressors), it is always designed to meet the required demand in order to achieve the best possible efficiency.​

Energy-Efficient Buildings​
The energy requirements for heating, cooling/ventilation and lighting are minimised as far as possible through the use of modern components. The high overall efficiency results from a combination of innovative technologies, automation and control technology, recognising deviations and potential by continuously monitoring consumption using measurement sensors, initiating the resulting projects and using the systems as required.​

Heat Recovery​
The integration of heat recovery systems reduces the need for additional energy for heating the buildings and increases the overall efficiency of the individual systems.​

Use of Renewable Energies​
The use of renewable energies is another building block in our decarbonisation strategy. By substituting fossil fuel-based systems, CO2e emissions can be significantly reduced. The dynamic requirements can be coupled with each other through smart networking of producers and consumers. We already operate PV systems at several locations and are continuously reviewing the expansion of our own generation capacities.​
