At WashTec, all employees have the right to freedom of association and to establish and maintain employee representation.
Through regular meetings and close cooperation with the management, the employee representatives help to promote a sustainable and positive corporate culture. In addition to co-determination in important company decisions, they attach particular importance to issues such as occupational safety, equal opportunities and environmentally conscious behaviour.
The work of the employee representatives is in line with the principles of our sustainability strategy. Together, we are creating a sustainable future for our company and our employees.
In Germany, for example, we are a member of the employers’ association and have implemented an employee representative body, the works council. According to the statutes, this is elected directly from the workforce every four years. The works council is the employee representative and the mouthpiece and representative of our employees. Its task is to work together with the employer in a spirit of trust for the benefit of the employees and the company and to protect and promote the interests of the workforce. Our works council is actively committed to the rights and well-being of our employees and thus ensures a transparent and trusting working environment.
